Sheet Pan Pork Chops & Apples
Fall on a plate, in half an hour. Bone-in pork chops roast on a sheet pan next to slices of apple and onion tossed in brown sugar and cinnamon. The apples turn soft and caramel-edged while the chops cook, and they're often the part kids reach for first. A five-minute rest on the pan, and one pan covers the whole dinner.

Steps
- Heat the oven to 425°F. Slice the apples and the onion and toss them in a bowl with the brown sugar and the cinnamon.
- Season the pork chops on both sides with salt and pepper. Set them on a sheet pan with the apples and onion spread around them, and drizzle the olive oil over everything.
- Bake for 22 to 25 minutes. Check that the thickest chop reads 145°F on a thermometer and the apples are soft and browned at the edges.
- Let the chops rest on the pan for 5 minutes before serving — the juices settle back into the meat.
Good to know
- 🌡 Pork chops — cook to 145°F at the thickest part , the USDA minimum for whole cuts of beef, pork or lamb. A thermometer is the test; color is not. Let it rest 3 minutes before serving.
